The BPM

The BPM was born from a bariatric practice and recognizes the importance of a low-cost, easy to use solution for patient tracking (the lack of one is the reason for its development).

The features listed here are just a few of the many offerings of the BPM. We are constantly improving the software and maintain a close relationship with our users who serve a critical role in determining new features to develop.

Automatically generate a complete History & Physical, operative dictations and letters to referring physicians on each patient The Bariatric Practice Manager (BPM) allows for the automatic generation of letters to referring physicians, history and physicals, documentation of pre-operative and post-operative consultations and any other documents that utilize the data stored in the BPM. The BPM comes populated with 10 sample letter templates and allows you to create more, customized to your practice. You can use (or modify) the sample letter templates, or easily create your own. Each letter template allows for the addition of content from the database to be added to the letter through the use of “fields.” For instance: A template that contains: [MrMs] [lastname] is a [patientage] year old [gender] who is here to be evaluated for [plannedSurgery]. Is converted to: Ms. Dorris Lewis is a 54 year old female who is here to be evaluated for laparoscopic roux-en-y gastric bypass. The BPM has over 50 different fields that you can add to your letter. This list is available in the Appendix; however, it is a continually growing list, so check online for an updated version.
