The BPM was born from a bariatric practice and recognizes the importance of a low-cost, easy to use solution for patient tracking (the lack of one is the reason for its development).

Each patient can be assigned a list of tests (stress test, psychiatric evaluation, etc.) that are necessary before submitting an application to his or her insurance company. This allows for the patient to leave your office with a printed list of all of the necessary steps before proceeding. Each step can be customized with instructions and phone numbers specific to your practice.

As patients submit documentation for each test, the documents can be uploaded to the server and the status of each test is updated as completed. Coordinators can view the workup progress of all of the pre-operative patients at once and identify those patients whose workup is nearly complete.

Surgeons can easily view all of the pre-operative documents in a single, online format, allowing each document to be viewed individually. This prevents the surgeon from having to thumb through 200 pages of physician documented weight loss history to find a 2 page cardiology consult.
